Starion Bank has awarded Brenna Boucher, a Rolette High School (RHS) graduate, Ryan Feland, a Mohall-Lansford- Sherwood High School (MLS) graduate, George Henry, a Bottineau High School (BHS) graduate, and Joslyn Nordmark, a Rolla High School (RLS) graduate, with $500 scholarships to support their pursuits of higher education. In order to be eligible for this scholarship, the applicant, or parents/guardians, must have a Starion bank account. The applicants were evaluated in a variety of areas including leadership, community involvement, and future career goals and plans. Of our many applicants, Boucher, Feland, Henry and Nordmark displayed a great level of excellence and promise in all of these areas.
 
For all four years of her high school career, Brenna Boucher has shown outstanding academic excellence. She has also been an active participant in volleyball, basketball, track, Student Council and FCCLA.  Boucher is the daughter of Brenda and Daniel Boucher, and has graduated from Rolette High School with plans of pursuing a Vet Technician degree at North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND.
 
While having worked on his family’s farm for the past four years, Ryan Feland was also involved in many different school activities. He participated in football, basketball and track, he was also a member of both FFA and FCCLA. Feland is the son of Shane and Heidi Feland and plans to study Agronomy this fall at BSC in Bismarck.
 
George Henry has been on the Honor Roll all four years of high school, he was also involved in many different activities related to school, while excelling at skiing and qualifying for the USSA Junior Nationals.
Henry is the son of Ryan and Barbara Henry and has graduated from Bottineau High School with plans of pursuing a degree in Entrepreneurial Studies at Grand Canyon University, in Phoenix, AZ.
 
Joslyn Nordmark excelled at a number of extracurricular, curricular, and community activities throughout her high school career. She has been on the National Honor Society for three years, while playing on the volleyball and golf teams. Nordmark is the daughter of Jason and Audrey Nordmark, and she plans to pursue a degree in Occupational Therapy at UND in Grand Forks this fall.
 
For more than 20 years, Starion Bank has awarded scholarships to support local students in support of higher education.
