Starion Bank is pleased to welcome Amber Solum to our Business Banking team as a Treasury Management Officer. With more than 20 years of experience across the banking industry, Amber brings a well-rounded perspective and a strong focus on building relationships with businesses and their teams.
Experience That Spans the Industry
Before joining Starion Bank, Amber served as a Business Relationship Officer. Her background includes a wide range of roles, from Mortgage Loan Officer and Teller Supervisor to Business Banker and Treasury Management Consultant. This diverse experience allows her to understand the full picture when working with businesses on their financial needs.
She attended Minnesota State Community and Technical College and has since built her career around helping customers navigate their most important financial decisions.
First Impressions at Starion
Amber says she was drawn to Starion because of our community banking culture and size, which allows for meaningful connections with both customers and coworkers.
"It’s very welcoming and team orientated. Everyone is so nice,” says Amber. “It's been a wonderful experience so far!”
Life outside the office
Outside of work, Amber enjoys golfing, gardening, and spending time with family and friends. She is also actively involved in her community, serving with organizations including the Essentia Health Advisory Board of Directors, Moorhead Public Schools Business and Financial Committee, Moorhead Police Volunteers, and Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
