Anthony came to Starion in 2018 as a Business Banking Officer, bringing nearly thirteen years of experience in banking, underwriting, compliance, risk management, and project management. He was promoted to Business Banking Officer, AVP in 2020.
As a business and agribusiness banker, Bruhn matches local producers, owners and entrepreneurs with the best banking products and services for their unique needs. His background in family-run agriculture gives him the experience owners look for when choosing a banker who understands the economic pressures of running a business.
“I enjoy living in a rural community where you know everyone and can build long-term relationships with customers. There’s no comparison to helping people launch their dream business and build a legacy that lasts for generations,” says Bruhn. “I’m grateful to all my customers for their years of trust and support, and to Starion Bank for encouraging me to continue learning and growing as a banker.”
Bruhn graduated from North Dakota State University with a degree in criminal justice and psychology, has attended Leadership Foundations Training, National School for Experienced Ag Bankers with SDBA, and is certified in several Community Banker University (ICBA) sponsored classes.
Away from work, Bruhn is active as president of the Hole-In-One Foundation, member of the Oakes Lions Club, member of Ludden Sportsmen Club, and member of Oakes Golf Club where he has served on various committees and events.
He also enjoys spending time at the lake with his family and helping on the family farm and ranch any chance he can.
