Welcome, Dashers! To help make your DoorDash Crimson experience as smooth as possible, we’ve gathered these frequently asked questions to help you use your DoorDash Crimson Deposit Account and Visa® Debit Card.

The DoorDash Crimson account is designed specifically for Dashers. It allows you to receive your earnings, enjoy cash-back* and perks. The account comes with a DoorDash Crimson Card, which you can use to spend and manage your money. For account-related questions, please reach out to DoorDash Crimson Support at 1-855-973-1040.

Open the Dasher app and follow these simple steps:

Navigate to the Earnings tab

Tap on the DoorDash Crimson banner

Tap on “View card details”.

Tap the “Add to Apple Wallet / Google Wallet” option.
To avoid these holds, you can either prepay inside the gas station (for example, by prepaying $30 on Pump #3) or use your PIN at the pump (PIN transactions usually immediately). These methods may help prevent the hold from being placed on your card.
DoorDash uses STRIPE to connect external bank accounts. To link your bank account in the Dasher App, follow these steps:
- Open the Dasher App.
- Go to the Earnings Tab.
- Select View Account Details.
- Click Transfer Funds to connect your bank account using STRIPE.
For the best experience, use Stripe through the Dasher App to connect your external bank account. However, if you need to manually connect your DoorDash Crimson account to another service (such as Venmo or Cash App), you can use micro-deposits as an alternative if that service supports micro-deposit.
1. Here’s how to manually connect your account using micro-deposits:- Find Your Account & Routing Number:
- Open the Dasher App.
- Go to the Earnings Tab.
- Select View Account Details.
- Click Manage Card, then Account Details.
2. Enter Your Account Information in the Third-Party Service (ie Venmo, Cash App, other):
- Instead of using Plaids Username and Password process, manually enter your account number and routing number in the service you want to connect with.
3. Wait for Micro-Deposits:
- Some services will send small test deposits to your DoorDash Crimson account.
- This process usually takes a few days.
- Once received, enter the deposit amounts in the service to verify your account.

- What are micro-deposits?
Micro-deposits are small, temporary deposits (usually a few cents) sent to your account to confirm ownership. You’ll need to verify the exact deposit amounts in the service you’re trying to connect with.
- Can I use my Starion Bank mobile app to set up my DoorDash Crimson account connection?
No, Starion Bank does not have access to your DoorDash Crimson account information. You cannot set up or retrieve usernames and passwords for this account through the Starion Bank mobile app.
- What if the service I’m trying to connect to asks for a username and password through Plaid?
Plaid-based username and password connections are not supported for DoorDash Crimson accounts. Instead, use the manual micro-deposit process outlined above.
- How long does the manual connection process take?
The micro-deposit verification process typically takes a few business days to complete, depending on the service you are connecting to.
If you have further questions, check with the third-party service to confirm if they support micro-deposit verification.
1. Open Your Digital Wallet App:
Open Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, Google Pay, or your preferred digital wallet app.
2. Add a New DoorDash Crimson Debit Card:
In your wallet app, select the option to add a new card.
3. Enter Card Information:
Enter your DoorDash Crimson Debit Card details. You can find these details within your Dasher app, or use
the virtual card provided in the app while you wait for your physical card to arrive.
4. Verify Your Card:
Depending on your digital wallet, you may need to verify your card using a verification code sent via text,
email, or a call from DoorDash Crimson. Follow the instructions provided by the app.
5. Activate the Card:
Once your card information is verified, your DoorDash Crimson Debit Card will be activated for use in your
digital wallet.
