General Account Information

The DoorDash Crimson account is designed specifically for Dashers. It allows you to receive your earnings, enjoy cash-back* and perks. The account comes with a DoorDash Crimson Card, which you can use to spend and manage your money. For account-related questions, please reach out to DoorDash Crimson Support at 1-855-973-1040.

The DoorDash Crimson Visa Debit Card is issued by Starion Bank pursuant to a license from Visa U.S.A. Inc. For any account-related questions, please reach out to DoorDash Support at 855-973-1040.
Routing Number & Direct Deposit
Setting up direct deposit is easy! Simply use your account number and routing number, available in the Crimson experience of the "Earnings” tab of the Dasher app. Please do not use your Crimson Card number for setting up direct deposit.
You can find your DoorDash Crimson account number and routing number in the Dasher app. For your reference, the DoorDash routing number is 075972202. Always confirm the details in the Dasher app to avoid any issues!
Mobile Banking App Download
No, your DoorDash Crimson account can only be viewed and managed through the Dasher app. Starion Bank’s app does not provide access to your DoorDash Crimson account.
No! All of your DoorDash Crimson features and account details can be accessed within the Dasher app.
Card-Related Questions
Most physical cards arrive in 7-10 business days, but due to current demand, there may be delays. In the meantime, you’ll have immediate access to a DoorDash Crimson virtual card through the Dasher app, perfect for online purchases and transfers. You can also add the virtual card to your Apple Wallet or Google Wallet for purchases at merchants who accept contactless payments.

Apple and Apple Wallet are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries. Google Wallet is a trademark of Google LLC.

Open the Dasher app and follow these simple steps:

  1. Navigate to the Earnings tab

  2. Tap on the DoorDash Crimson banner

  3. Tap on “View card details”.

  4. Tap the “Add to Apple Wallet / Google Wallet” option.

Don’t worry, it’s easy to replace your card! First, make sure you lock your card in the Dasher app. Go to the Crimson experience in the “Earnings” tab, tap “View card details” and select “Lock card”.  Then, select “Replace card”.  DoorDash Crimson Deposit Account Fee Schedule: Card Replacement Fee
If you notice any suspicious activity, contact DoorDash Crimson Support right away at 1-855-973-1040 to report the issue.
Payments & Disputes
ACH deposits can take up to 3 days to post to your account. Verify your account number and routing number in the DoorDash Crimson section of the “Earnings” tab within the Dasher app to ensure everything is correct. If the issue persists, reach out to DoorDash Crimson Support for further assistance.
For any disputes, you’ll need to call DoorDash Crimson Support directly at 1-855-973-1040 and be sure to mention Crimson. They’ll be able to assist you. Starion Bank’s customer service representatives do not have access to your Crimson account details.
Pay at the Pump, Holds, ATMs & Fees
Some gas stations may place a temporary hold on your card when you pay at the pump to make sure there are sufficient funds for your fill-up. This hold will be released once your purchase is completed, but it could take longer depending on the gas station.

To avoid these holds, you can either prepay inside the gas station (for example, by prepaying $30 on Pump #3) or use your PIN at the pump (PIN transactions usually immediately). These methods may help prevent the hold from being placed on your card.
ATM Access & Cash Withdrawals
Withdraw cash fee-free at over 40,000 MoneyPass® ATMs nationwide. Go to moneypass.com to find a MoneyPass ATM near you.  If an address has more than one ATM, please look for the MoneyPass logo on a sign at the ATM or displayed on the ATM screen to avoid paying a surcharge.

Use your Crimson Card at self-checkout or with a cashier to request cash back. Select the cash back option and choose the amount. Some stores may charge a fee for cash back with purchases, but this varies by retailer. Stores may also impose a limit on the amount of cash back. 
Plaid & Third-Party Services

DoorDash uses STRIPE to connect external bank accounts. To link your bank account in the Dasher App, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Dasher App.
  2. Go to the Earnings Tab.
  3. Select View Account Details.
  4. Click Transfer Funds to connect your bank account using STRIPE.
If you have an issue connecting an external bank account to your Crimson account, please contact DoorDash Crimson Support at 1-855-973-1040 and mention Crimson.

For the best experience, use Stripe through the Dasher App to connect your external bank account. However, if you need to manually connect your DoorDash Crimson account to another service (such as Venmo or Cash App), you can use micro-deposits as an alternative if that service supports micro-deposit.

1. Here’s how to manually connect your account using micro-deposits:
  • Find Your Account & Routing Number:
  • Open the Dasher App.
  • Go to the Earnings Tab.
  • Select View Account Details.
  • Click Manage Card, then Account Details.


2. Enter Your Account Information in the Third-Party Service (ie Venmo, Cash App, other):

  • Instead of using Plaids Username and Password process, manually enter your account number and routing number in the service you want to connect with.


3. Wait for Micro-Deposits:

  • Some services will send small test deposits to your DoorDash Crimson account.
  • This process usually takes a few days.
  • Once received, enter the deposit amounts in the service to verify your account.

  • What are micro-deposits?

Micro-deposits are small, temporary deposits (usually a few cents) sent to your account to confirm ownership. You’ll need to verify the exact deposit amounts in the service you’re trying to connect with.

  • Can I use my Starion Bank mobile app to set up my DoorDash Crimson account connection?

No, Starion Bank does not have access to your DoorDash Crimson account information. You cannot set up or retrieve usernames and passwords for this account through the Starion Bank mobile app.

  • What if the service I’m trying to connect to asks for a username and password through Plaid?

Plaid-based username and password connections are not supported for DoorDash Crimson accounts. Instead, use the manual micro-deposit process outlined above.

  • How long does the manual connection process take?

The micro-deposit verification process typically takes a few business days to complete, depending on the service you are connecting to.

Activate DoorDash Crimson Debit Card on Digital Wallet
Follow these simple steps to add your DoorDash Crimson Debit Card to your digital wallet:

        1. Open Your Digital Wallet App:
        Open Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, Google Pay, or your preferred digital wallet app.

        2. Add a New DoorDash Crimson Debit Card:
        In your wallet app, select the option to add a new card.

        3. Enter Card Information:
        Enter your DoorDash Crimson Debit Card details. You can find these details within your Dasher app, or use
        the virtual card provided in the app while you wait for your physical card to arrive.

        4. Verify Your Card:
        Depending on your digital wallet, you may need to verify your card using a verification code sent via text, 
        email, or a call from DoorDash Crimson. Follow the instructions provided by the app.

       5. Activate the Card:
       Once your card information is verified, your DoorDash Crimson Debit Card will be activated for use in your 
       digital wallet.
