Starion Bank is pleased to welcome Andrea (Dre) Boom as Director of Treasury Management. Dre’s role is centered on helping businesses strengthen cash flow, improve operational efficiency, and protect company funds through treasury management strategies and services.

Dre brings a unique blend of financial expertise, business experience, and relationship-building to the position. She describes her career as a "jungle gym" rather than a ladder, with each opportunity building on the last and deepening her understanding of how businesses operate.

Before joining Starion, Dre worked as a commercial treasury solutions and card consultant, helping businesses throughout Wisconsin evaluate cash flow processes, improve working capital, and strengthen fraud protection. Over the years, she has developed a reputation for helping business owners navigate complex financial challenges with practical, results-driven solutions.

Dre is driven by a genuine desire to understand the businesses she serves. She takes time to learn how organizations operate, the challenges they face, and the goals they hope to achieve. From there, she helps identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve liquidity, and enhance security.

"I work to understand businesses, the people who operate them, and their unique cash flow needs," Dre said. "My goal is to improve the efficiency and safety of their cash flow and help connect them with the resources they need to succeed."

Since joining Starion, she has been impressed by the organization's collaborative culture and commitment to clients. "Starion prioritizes client care and getting things done the right way and for the right reasons," she said. "People and teams work together, communicate, and collaborate across departments. Accountability is key."

Her focus is simple: helping businesses operate more efficiently, protect what they've built, and position themselves for long-term success.

Dre holds degrees in Business Management and Human Resources from Upper Iowa University and Accounting from Lakeland College. Outside of work, she serves on the Middleton High School Boys Lacrosse Board and as a representative for the Middleton High School Boys Lacrosse Booster Club.
