Fifteen years ago, in October 2011, the communities of Dunseith, Rolla, and Bottineau joined the Starion Bank family. What began as a new chapter for our bank grew into something much more meaningful. These communities welcomed us in and quickly became an integral part of who we are.
Looking back, it's impossible to separate the history of our rural branches from the people we've met and gotten to know along the way.
Our memories are filled with community moments and familiar faces. Serving meals, supporting local fundraisers, sharing celebrations, and impromptu chats with friends is what makes living and working here so much fun.
We’re also incredibly proud of the businesses we’ve helped start and grow, and the local farmers and ranchers that feed our country. Working through seasonal challenges, racing through milestones, and cheering on the success of our neighbors are experiences that shape our Starion employees as much as they shape the communities.
Watching the younger generations grow up and finding their footing has given us meaningful moments, too.
We're grateful for the opportunity to support local students as they pursue education and begin careers of their own. Some leave for college or military service and return home to the communities that raised them. New families are moving in, putting down roots, and writing the next chapter of their own story. We’re honored to help each of them reach their financial goals and dreams.
There's a spirit in rural communities that's difficult to describe unless you've experienced it firsthand. When there's a community event, people show up. When there's a fundraiser, donations appear. When someone needs support, neighbors are there to help. The generosity, resilience, and connection have left a lasting impression on all of us.
To everyone in Dunseith, Rolla, and Bottineau, thank you for allowing us to be part of your communities for the past fifteen years. The relationships we've built mean more than we can ever express.
