Make purchases directly from your checking account. At your request, the check card can also be used at ATM machines to receive cash from both checking and savings accounts. Purchases and transactions appear in detail on your monthly statement. Note: you must qualify for this card.

An essential tool for business purchases, entertainment and business travel. You can also get a cash advance at financial institutions or ATMs displaying the Visa logo. Your statement provides a record of business expenses for you and your employees. As an added convenience, drop off your payment at Starion Bank. A rewards program is also available.

Zinke graduates from banking school
Doug Zinke, business banking officer-vice president, at Starion Bank in Bismarck recently graduated from the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado (GSBC). Zinke graduated with honors, a special designation for students in the top 10 percent of their class.

Starion promotes Petersen
Starion Bank has promoted SaraLi Petersen in Ellendale. Petersen has been promoted to universal banker. In this role, she helps customers with new accounts, provides customer service on deposit transactions and continues working in the teller line. Petersen, who graduated from Trinity Bible College and has several years of customer service experience, joined Starion in May 2016 as a teller.
