Starion Bank promotes Wickham to Market President
Wickham came to Starion Bank in 2008 as an AVP/Branch Manager. After holding the retail branch manager position for more than six years, he moved to the Fargo Business Banking team. Wickham was first promoted to Business Banker/VP in 2018, and then to Business Banker/SVP in 2019.
“Serving the Fargo community for the last 15 years has been so rewarding. I’m excited to continue providing outstanding service to all our banking, loan, and insurance customers. Starion Bank is a true example of a community bank and a community that support each other and help each other succeed” says Wickham.
As the Market President for Fargo, Wickham will assume oversight of the retail, lending and operations personnel, as well as driving strategic initiatives and building new relationships within the community.
Chief Banking Officer Dave Hoekstra says the promotion is a natural fit. “Mike truly lives Starion’s core values. He has strong leadership skills and a passion for serving the community.” says Hoekstra. “Expanding his role at Starion Bank will lead to more local Fargo residents and businesses reaching their financial goals.”
Mike earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from North Dakota State University and his MBA from the University of Mary in Bismarck. He is involved with the United Way, Special Olympics, FMWF Chamber of Commerce and serves on the board of directors for Junior Achievement.
