Starion Bank has promoted two employees in its Oakes and Ellendale, North Dakota, branches. Starion has always believed in the importance of training and developing employees internally, recognizing that it actively improves the strength and sustainability of the bank.

Harley Tandberg was promoted to Business Banking Representative I at our Oakes location. Tandberg joined Starion Bank in September 2021 as an Insurance Sales Assistant I.

Tanner Twigg was to a Jr. Business Banking Officer in Ellendale. Twigg joined Starion in February 2021 as a Business Banking Representative I.

Bertsch retires from Starion Bank board, joins Starion Bancorporation board.
Donovan Bertsch, longtime member of the Starion Bank Board of Directors has retired, and his service was celebrated at the 2023 Annual Shareholder meeting in February.  Bertsch previously served as a director of Security State Bank since 2007. He joined the Starion Bank board when Starion acquired the Dunseith-based bank in 2011.
