Starion Bank has promoted Barbara Mothershead to Market Leader in the Rolla, North Dakota branch.

Mothershead joined Starion Bank in December 2016 as a Business Banking Representative, working with new and existing customers and providing sales and support to Starion business bankers. She was then promoted to Business Banking Officer in January 2019, and again in September 2020 to a Business Banking Officer, AVP.

In her new role as Market Leader, Mothershead will still function as a Business Banking Officer. She continues to serve her local business and agribusiness customers, helping them find the right financing, leasing, escrows and other banking products to fit their needs. In addition, she will assume a supervisory role and oversee the day-to-day operations in the Rolla branch.

Chuck Neubauer, Market President for the Dunseith, Rolla and Bottineau branches, says the promotion is well-deserved. “Barb has a long track record of exceptional customer service and loan portfolio management,” says Neubauer. “I’m excited to see her step up to this role and I know she’ll do great work for Starion Bank consumer and business customers in our market.”

Mothershead graduated from Dickinson State University, earning a degree in accounting, and had several years of insurance and customer service experience before joining Starion. She currently serves on the Rolla Job Development Board and the Rolla Community Endowment Board, and lives on a ranch near Rolette with her husband and two children.
